Elie Saab Haute Couture S/S15 Review

I look forward to couture fashion week all year long and this is mainly due to the Elie Saab show. The levels of luxury and opulence this show brings to the catwalk are unbelievable and I spent most of yesterday checking the Style.com app waiting for them to share the looks from the show and when they did, I was not disappointed. The Spring/Summer 2015 collection is just as elegant as ever and the inspiration behind it is rather personal.
Lebanese designer Elie Saab based this show on Beirut, the capital of Lebanon and his hometown, this stimulus was revealed on Instagram hours before the show took place. The collection itself took us back to the 60's with feathers, sheer fabrics and ostentatious embellishments everywhere in sight.
Saab always creates dream-like collections and Haute Couture really is his forte. Although the designer knows how to keep it classic with beautifully tailored feminine gowns, the S/S15 collection included some more modernised dresses with shorter hemlines that were worn with flats, ensuring that this show seemed as whimsical as it did extravagant.
It's pretty obvious that I don't have a bad word to say about Elie Saab when it comes to couture and if there every comes a day when I don't feel the need to rave about their collection during couture fashion week, start worrying! Here are some of my favourite looks from the show...

The Jumper Dress.

The jumper dress has been a huge trend this winter and one that I have been loving. It's a really versatile piece that can be worn for any occasion and one that has been my saviour on those days when I just didn't know what to wear. Whether you pair it with thigh high boots or tights and flats, it's always something that will look effortlessly chic and put together.

This is my favourite jumper dress of mine and I purchased it after seeing it on my favourite vlogger, Lexi. It's from Topshop, and although slightly itchy, it fits really well and looks amazing with a leather jacket and biker boots.

Here is some of my favourite ways others have styled theirs...

Gigi Hadid.

Kendall Jenner.

Leave me a link in the comments showing me how you style your jumper dress and let me know what type of posts you want to see on my blog in the future!
